This isn't just about horse photos.

It's about living with artwork that reflects who you love.

This isn’t just about horse photos.

It’s about artwork that belongs in your home.

Each session is shaped around your horse’s energy, comfort, and character.

Whether we’re working at a gorgeous location or crafting fine art Black Background images, the focus stays the same: creating portraits that feel true, and that translate beautifully into finished artwork for your home.
There’s no need for your horse to be “perfect,” and you don’t have to know how you’ll display your images yet. I’ll be there throughout to guide you and your horse.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Session Investment: $295 Includes: A special $200 artwork credit toward your wall art purchase, collaborative planning, your session, and a private reveal and ordering appointment where you'll see 25-30+ images.

Artwork Investment: Most clients invest $900-$3,000.

Your investment depends on the size, style and number of pieces you choose for your home.

Timeline: 6-8 weeks from ordering to artwork on your wall.

You'll make product decisions AFTER your session, once you've fallen in love with your images.

The end goal isn’t files on a hard drive. It’s artwork that feels at home in your space.

Ready to hang wall art

Showcase your best friend through stunning artwork displayed on your walls. Choose from a single impact piece, or we can create a custom collection. No matter where you hang it, I guarantee smiles every time you see it. All wall art is created using the finest archival quality materials – that means each piece look exceptional, forever.

This includes Framed Acrylics, Artisanal Round Wood Framed Prints, Gallery Wrapped Canvases and Framed Storyboards.

Wall art begins at $495, with pricing varying based on size and presentation.

Storybooks

Storybooks tell the story of your session through a variety of images that spotlight the spirit of your BFF and capture your bond together. It’s a spectacular way to document lasting memories.

The hard cover features a full image and your pet’s name. It has a luxurious soft finish that begs you to pick it up and explore the story within. Pages are thick – preventing tearing or bending – and lay flat when your book is open, allowing for more impactful images.

Storybooks begin at $1,995 and are custom designed to tell the story of your session.

Here’s how it works

Thoughtful planning

Before you book, we start with a conversation. It’s a chance to talk about your horse, location considerations, timing, and what you might like to do with your favourite images… without needing to decide anything yet.

I’ll outline how sessions work, how to prepare your horse (and you), answer questions, and help you picture possibilities.

The portrait session

On the day of your session, I’ll guide the flow and adapt to your horse, keeping the experience relaxed and focused on images that reflect their personality and your connection.

I’ll bring samples of wall art to your session so you can better visualize how you’d like to display your favourites.

Viewing & ordering

After your session, we’ll go through the images together. Seeing the photographs brings things into focus. We’ll narrow in on your favourites and decide how you’d like to finish them for your home.

Still have questions? Here are some answers

What if my horse won't stand still?

A little groundwork in advance of your session will go a long way. If your horse is comfortable with basic handling cues—standing, walking forward, turning—that gives us a solid foundation to work with. I’ll adapt to your horse’s comfort level and work at their pace. Remember, I don’t need perfect stillness for more than a split second to capture a beautiful portrait.

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?

I work with a limited number of clients each month specifically to accommodate weather changes and allow for reschedules. If conditions aren’t ideal on your session day—whether it’s rain, extreme heat, or poor light—we’ll simply reschedule. Your comfort and your horse’s wellbeing always come first.

Can I be in some of the photos with my horse?

Absolutely, I’d love that. During our planning call, we’ll discuss what feels right for you—whether that’s formal portraits together, candid moments, or even images where you’re “in but not in” (like a hand on their neck or leading them through a scene). These images often become the most treasured, as they capture the connection that makes your bond so special.

My horse is nervous around new people or equipment—how do you handle that?

I’ve worked with horses for years and understand that some need time to settle. When I arrive, (with zen-like energy) I’ll give your horse space to observe me and get comfortable with my presence and camera. We can start with simple, calm interactions—just walking together or letting them graze—before moving into any structured poses. Patience is everything when working with horses, and I have it in spades.

What happens at the ordering appointment?

After your session, we’ll schedule a private appointment where you’ll see 25-30+ images from your session. This is where the magic happens – you’ll see your horse captured beautifully, and we’ll talk through your favorites. I use an app to help sort the images into your loves and likes.

I’ll help you envision how different images would look in your space, show you size and product options, and be your guide (or your sounding board) toward choices you’ll love for years to come. There’s no pressure and no rush – this is your time to fall in love with your images and create something beautiful.

Where will my session take place?

It depends on your horse and what you do together. Most often, we’ll work at your home barn and the surrounding area. But if your horse is comfortable being trailered, we could venture further to a favourite spot of yours. And if your horse needs to be around their buddies to feel settled, we’ll definitely stick closer to home. We’ll figure out what works best during our planning call.

How far in advance should I book?

Because I accept equine sessions on a limited basis, I recommend reaching out as early as possible—ideally 4–6 weeks in advance. This gives us time to plan thoughtfully and work around both our schedules and the best seasonal conditions for your vision.
